Context — What the Numbers Don't Show

n8n's 400+ official connectors are specific app integrations. PROCESIO's 200+ are platform-level actions (scripting, data processing, file handling, document generation, logic, etc.). PROCESIO connects to any REST API via CallAPI - the connector count is unlimited in practice.

n8n's fair-code license means the self-hosted version is free, but enterprise features (SSO, audit logs, multi-instance, LDAP) require their paid cloud or self-hosted enterprise plans. For regulated industries, the cost of adding missing governance features is a real factor.

n8n's Code node supports JavaScript and Python. Python on n8n Cloud cannot import external libraries - only standard library is available. Self-hosted deployments allow full Python with external packages via environment variables.

PROCESIO already integrates with OpenAI, Azure AI, and any other AI/LLM API via CallAPI. The planned 2027 roadmap item is a native agent reasoning framework - not basic AI connectivity, which works today.

Key Differentiators

Why PROCESIO wins

01

Enterprise Governance vs Community-Driven

PROCESIO includes ISO 27001 certification, built-in audit trails, role-based access, and compliance features. n8n relies on community plugins and self-managed security.

02

Native Forms & Human Tasks vs Code-Only Flows

PROCESIO handles human-in-the-loop workflows natively with built-in forms, task assignment, and approval chains. n8n requires external tools for user interaction.

03

Predictable Pricing vs Execution-Based Costs

PROCESIO offers per-environment or processing-time billing with predictable execution costs. n8n's execution-based pricing scales unpredictably as workflow complexity grows.
